Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Pickup upon arrival in Hanoi and transfer to the city centre to check-in. Overnight Hanoi.

 DAY 2: HANOI - HA LONG BAY CRUISE (B,L,D)

Drive through green rice paddy fields to Ha Long Bay. You will board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a seafood lunch and a swim (if weather permits) before visiting a grotto of gigantic stalactites and stalagmites. Drop anchor in the late evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY - BOAT CRUISE - HANOI (B,L)

Spend the morning cruising through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay before returning to the wharf.  Our bus will take you back to Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI  FREE DAY and OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO DA NANG (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today, you are free to visit Hanoi Old Quarter, see the water puppet show until transfer to Hanoi Train Station for solf – Sleeping train to Da nang. Time you need to spend on the train is around 13 hours. On the train you can view our beautiful country along the coastal line. You also stay overnight on the train and reach Danang train station at around 10.30 am next day.

DAY 5: DANANG - HOIAN (-)

Train arrive at around 10.30 am. We will pick up and transfer to Hoi An Ancient town. Check in hotel in the ancient town and relaxing.

DAY 6: HALFDAY MY SON HOLY LAND TOUR (B/-)

08:00 Our guide will come to meet you at your hotel and then drive to My Son, a World Heritage, 40 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Have lunch in the local restaurant. Finish tour at your hotel.

DAY 7: HOI AN - HCMC - PICK UP - CHECK IN HOTEL (B )

After breakfast at your hotel and you are free till airport transfer. Today, you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay overnight at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 8: SAIGON - CU CHI TUNNELS  (B)

08:30 Pick up at your hotel. Excursion Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.

Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at approximately 13.00pm. Free time in the afternoon for discover the town by yourself.

DAY 9: SAIGON - BANGKOK                        (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. Pick up on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Bangkok.

DAY 10: BANGKOK CITY TOUR (B)

This is one of the most popular tours, and it gives guests a rich insight into Buddhism, architecture and the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Three of the capital’s most stunning temples are visited including: Wat Traimit, this houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha (5.5 tonnes of precious metal!); Wat Pho, this is the oldest temple in Bangkok and houses the Reclining Buddha, a 45-metre-long statue which depicts Buddha entering Nirvana. Wat Pho is also ‘‘Thailand’s first university’’ and houses a wealth of art. It is still an important centre for traditional medicine, such as massage. Wat Trimitr, the Temple of the Golden Buddha - the statue of Buddha is made from solid gold weighting 5.5 tons. It is a fine example of Sukhothai art and was discovered by chance from a layer of stucco during construction of the temple. Passing through Chinatown. Wat Po, the temple of the Reclining Buddha - the largest and oldest in Bangkok..

Back to the hotel aroudn noon. Free time in the afternoon.

DAY 11: BANGKOK - RIVER KWAI TOUR  (B,L)

Depart Bangkok for Kanchanaburi by minibus.Arrival at Kanchanaburi and visit the War Cemetery of the allied prisoners of world war II.

Jeath Museum ( the museum of world war II ) Walk along the bridge over the river kwai.Take the train trip along the Death railway sight-seeing the Countryside and exciting passing by wooden viaduct built by the P.O.W.S. situated on sheer cliff side over-looking the River Kwai.

Arrival at Wang-Po railway station. Lunch will be provided. Depart from the restaurant to Bangkok.

Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotels. Overnight in Bangkok.

DAY 12: BANGKOK - CHIANG RAI (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Rai. Pick up on arrival and stay at the hotel in Chiang Rai.

DAY 13: CHIANG RAI - GOLDEN TRIANGLE TOUR (B,L)

After breakfast, dwe start a visit at the Diamond Pagoda located on top of Thaton Mountain where you will enjoy a splendid view of the Kok River valley and beautiful mountains in Burma. From there, we will go to tribal area where we can visit Akha, Lahu and Padong villages on the way to the Doitung Royal Villa in Chiang Rai.

After lunch at Doitung Restaurant, we will visit the famous flower garden of Her Princess Mother Sinakarin the Important Person of Unesco to enjoy a 30 minute walk in her garden. After, drive further north to the Golden Triangle the infamous meeting point of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Visit Opium Museum to learn story of drug and opium plantation in the old days before going to Chiang Saen the old city on the bank of the Mighty Mekong River. After sight-seeing walk around the old temple Wat JD Luang, we will go to back Chiang Rai.

DAY 14: CHIANG RAI DEPARTURE (B)

Free at leisure until transfer time for departure. Tour ends.
